About FXB Uganda
Established in Uganda in 1990 and currently registered as a local Ugandan NGO, Reg No 8179. FXB Uganda has over 24 years of experience working with children in vulnerable households in six districts (Kampala, Wakiso, Nakaseke, Luweero, Iganga and Kyenjojo) of Central, Eastern and Western Uganda. Over the 24 years in Uganda, FXB Uganda has implemented a responsive approach, code named the “FXB-Village”. The FXB-Village is a community- based, holistic model of care and support that aims to improve the long-term well being of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) by reinforcing the capacities of families to meet their own needs, as well as the needs of OVC in their care. Currently, FXB has 2 private funded FXB village projects in Iganga district, and the SCORE and UPHSP USAID funded projects in Kampala and Wakiso districts respectively. With the fact that FXB projects in Kampala and Wakiso Village provides a range of integrated services to help children, youths and families achieve long term resiliency and development. More so, we have built strong partnerships and networks overtime at all societal levels in areas operations. We do stakeholder analysis and select key partners to work with for better outcomes.
