When some beer manufactures experiment with newer types of beers that are not only highly alcoholic but are also very expensive, then it does not serve many purposes. If the taste of the beer is viable then it will only cater to an exclusive group of beer consumers who drink beer for its taste and quality, not for its inebriation quality. If the Boston Beer Company sells its new beer product at an expensive price of 150 USD then it will only attract selective customers. In my opinion, this is a socially responsible action by the Boston Beer Company, because increasing the price will ensure that only adults with adequate purchase means and ability to hold their drink consume this beer. However, such a high price for beer may not get the desired publicity. High price when used as a tool to attract the consumers will probably backfire because many people will be repelled by the idea of a beer which costs them as much as 150 dollars, when on the other hand, they can easily buy another beer for a cost of 20 dollars and still get more or less the same
