In the story,"The Odyssey ", by Homer,Odysseus a cosmopolite, brave, courageous, and heroic man is struggling to get back home to Ithaca after the ten-year war with the Trojans, he faces many external conflicts on his journey home to his wife Penelope and son Telemachus but he first must face all the obstacles the gods put in his way.
