When the French arrived the Acadians and the French traded and bonded and got to know each other and become friends. So When the English came and started attacking it was very obvious what the acadians would do. They fought with the French till they were defeated. In the end 200 Acadians out of 10000 were found in the forts. When they were found they said they were forced to fight, the English did not believe them.
Reason 3: When the English found out about this they instantly thought that every Acadian was guilty. So in the months leading up to the expulsion they were treated like enemies and cowards and bullied them till the expulsion happened.
