Explain Why All Animal Owners Should Be Able To Own Exotix Pets

Improved Essays
I think that animal owners should be able to own exotix pets. Like snakes, and different types birds. They should be able to have them as long as they do not abuse their right to have them. Such as letting them loose, killing them, or even letting them into parks where children play. You should not own one of these pets if children in the house are under 5 years old, this is because the child may think that it is a stuffed animal or a toy, and try to pick it up and it bite them, and cause harm to them.

Owners should be aloud to have these kinds of pets because it is their right to have them, because if we didn’t, then the world would not be the way it is. The world wouldn’t have a food chain, or a life cycle because there would be nothing to kill small or big animals. I even have an exotic animal myself, his name is Ralph, he his A Medium sized snake with brown and black spots on his body. I like having this animal because it doesn’t cost a whole lot of money because it eats rats. It drinks very little water and

The animals we see are dogs, cats, and birds like eagles or cardinals. Now don’t get me wrong having these type of animals can be dangerous, they could kill the loved animals around your house, but if the rules are followed it won’t happen. I like having these animals around, and so should all the owners because they are friendly nice to have around. I don’t think people should be able to have a pet like a tiger or a panther, unless they have a permit for them.

This is why we need to have exotic pets. They hardly ever hurt anything around the house, they are friendly and loving, and they can help around the house. People are great and so are the animals we love and live with. This is why I think think we should have exotic pets. Remember to keep these animals away from children and to keep them away from parks and

The Burmese Python and the Everglades Have you ever looked through a pet store window and saw a cute little snake with a sign that read “Burmese Python?” Well if you love snakes you’re likely to think “how awesome” or “I’ve absolutely got to have it.” This happens all too often and the buyer doesn’t do their research like a responsible pet owner. In Florida, where it is very much like their native home in Southeast Asia, these pythons are taking over the Everglades. The Burmese python does not make good pets because of their massive size and are often let go in the backwoods of Florida.…

In response to “A Change of Heart about Animals” Rifkin states that animals are more like us than we imagined. He also says that “researchers are finding is that many of our fellow creatures are more like us than we had ever imagined.” I honestly disagree with him because I believe that animals should have rights yes, but I disagree with on the fact that wild animals shouldn’t have rights. Now, house pets such as dogs should have rights in the house, obviously, but they shouldn’t have the exact same rights as us humans. Now, I know most of us in this class treat our pets like humans, but does that really mean they should get the exact same rights as us?…

Come with me and listen to my opinion about pit bulls. Should pit bulls be allowed as pets.? In my opinion pit bulls are allowed to be consider as a pet because, what if there a group of bad guys?.Doing drugs and pit bulls can stop that. The reason why I am on pit bulls being pets is because, for example pit bulls can help officers take out bad documents and bad things pit bulls can help and take down bad people. To be real, the reson why I am for pit bulls is because without them who else is gonna take down bad people.?Or without pit bulls being pets we wouldn’t have a guard dog in our family.…

Do you think that all most animals should be service animals or just dogs should be allowed? Well I do think that because other animals can do more things than other animals can. Such as the monkey it can help people in different ways other than the service dog that cannot do as much things than the monkey. All animals are different so that means that the other animals can do lots of more different things than just things that the dog can do. Also the dog can pretty much do easy things…

People presume that there isn’t a difference between owning a cat and a wild animal; however, cats and dogs are animal companions who depend on humans for food, shelter, and affection, where exotic animals are self sufficient and fare best without human interference (Wild Animals). Having an exotic pet can be a way of protecting endangered species which may otherwise cease to exist. People believe that saving an animal is beneficial, but if they want to save the animal they should let rescue societies take care of them. In a humane society of domesticated animals, there are more than enough animals that need a home and fit the guidelines of a citizen who wants a…

Owning a pet is seen normal thing. There are more ordinary pets, such as cats and dogs or more uncommon pets like ferrets, birds and snakes. There’s hardly a person who views having a pet as something crazy or immoral. The most common view is of animals just being lesser, sentient but not sapient creatures that are subject to whatever whims human beings choose to impose on them. A slightly less common view is that animals deserve the same rights and protections that human beings do.…

We have the case of beavers, someone brought them to the province of Tierra del Fuego from Canada several years ago, and they already exceed in numbers to the quantity of human inhabitants, as you may imagine, this is due to they don't have any natural predator that can keep the balance of the nature in that place as happens in North America, so they quickly became in a pest too. They are very damaging for the native vegetation since they use some of the trees for building their bridges, if I am not wrong, in some time, somebody talked to bring bears, but things keep equal, so the beaver colony continues growing. Well, I would never have a pet that spits poison, haha!! , but undoubtedly many people carry their love to exotic animals to heights truly hard to understand. I know of people who had snakes, all those you may get to imagine, living in a flat!…

According to National Geographic, the article “Exotic Pets”, former exotic wildlife owner, Tim Harrison claims, “(I) will never again own anything wild or exotic./ (I) believe ownership of all potentially dangerous exotic animals should be banned”. Therefore even a former owner of wolves, snakes, lions, and bears agrees that having possession of wild animals can be extremely dangerous to a person considering exotic pets can be unpredictable. Furthermore, owners of exotic pets do not realize the risk and danger they put on the community for housing these exotic creatures. In National Geographic, the article “Exotic Pets” Lauren Slater writes, “A man named Terry Thompson let 50 of his wild animals, including lions and tigers, out of their cages and enclosures before killing himself”. This quote depicts an example of a man from Ohio, who let out 50 wild animals, causing a dangerous situation for citizens living in Muskingum County.…
