1. What things would you have to consider when building a shelter?
When building a shelter the first thing I will consider is the weather. Depending of the weather of where I am building my shelter will determine on how strong and sturdy I would have to build my shelter. With taking into consideration the changing seasons, I would make sure I had a strong roof that would not sink in when it rained or snowed. Also, I would build strong poles to hold my roof so it does not easily collapse when it is a rainy or windy day. The building of the walls will also be important, because the walls will keep the structure strong and less likely for the roof to collapse. When taking into account the materials that I would been will be extremely important. I will select material that will keep my house strong to avoid from it easily being destroyed. The last thing I will consider when builder a shelter is the location that I will be building. I would try to select a location where the weather is not as dramatically changing, so I have

The people is the clip numerous times mentioned how the rain was strong and will only stop raining for small moment of times. The rain cause cold and very uncomfortable conditions for the people that were describing their experience in being at Costa Rica. There is a large amount of rain that will fall in a short period of time, and the heavy rain will last for days without stopping. The after effects of the rain were all very difficulty because of the heavy humidity after the rain. The soaked soil will cause humid temperatures but without any disappearance of the clouds. Throughout the clip it showed how cloudy Costa Rica was even if it was not raining, but it was a warning sign of the heavy rains that were coming.
