Explain The Three Macronutrients

The three macronutrients (proteins, carbs, and fats), make up our food. Our body depends on the availability of protein, carbohydrate, and fat. Macronutrients influence things like the ability to do work, perceive energy levels, recovery from exercise, help chronic disease progression, help body composition, help appetite and satiety, and much more.
Carbohydrates are made up of numerous collections of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen molecules. All carbohydrates have a 2:1 ratio of hydrogen to oxygen. Fibers, starches, and sugars are carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are more readily used for energy production than are fats and proteins. Carbohydrates are an important source of energy for several body systems. They help nourish the body and help shield the body from chronic disease by getting most of your carbohydrates from fruits, whole grains, legumes, milk, and yogurt. Carbohydrates are broken down into glucose which then helps provide energy to the body.
