Our Government is made up of three different branches the Legislative Branch, Executive Branch and the Judicial Branch. Lets now take a quick look at these three different branches. First lets start by taking a look at the Legislative Branch. It is made up of the Senate and House of Representatives and it's most important duty is to make the laws of our great country. The Senate is made of one-hundred senators, two from each state are elected to serve a six year term. The Vice President is the head of the Senate.
