Bacterial Infections, (Impetigo, Conjunctivitis or Styes), Viral Infections (Herpes Simplex, Shingles or Warts), Infestations (Scabbies, Head lice or Pediculosis) and Fungal Diseases (Tinea Pedis, Tinea Corpis or Tinea Unguium) are Infectious Diseases that are highly contagious and can be spread through person to person if left untreated.

An ultraviolet light cabinet contains a UV light that destroys microorganisms and is used as a sterilisation process. In order for the tools and equipment to be sterilised via radiation, they must be rotated frequently so that the UV light reaches all sides. The UV Lamp along with your sterilised tools and equipment should be stored in a closed cabinet. Sterilizing tools and equipment under a UV Light is only somewhat effective and should be accompanied with dry and moist heat.
A dry hot air oven heats up to 150 – 180 degrees Celsius, is similar to a small oven and is one method used in a beauty salon.
Another common method is a glass-bead steriliser which is a small electrically heated unit containing glass beads that send heat to objects that are placed inside.
