Leaders are seen approaching patients, introducing themselves as the clinical leader, and providing services to the patient. Often leaders are seen assisting patients to the restroom, tending to loud IV machines, and assisting to re insert IVs. Leaders often step into the role as an RN, often if a client falls into respiratory distress the leader will activate a code and participate with the rapid response team.
