A record label makes, distributes and markets sound recordings; basically at the end of the day they're out to make money. How has the music industry been affected by the Internet and digital downloading? This question is important because the Internet is the Music Industry's new problem. Music in today's world without the Internet will be the main question or main concern if we did not have it. Where would the music industry be without the Internet and the power to share files, MP3 waves and music share portals. The basic experimental design for the music industry using the Internet is simple using the Cause and Effect model. The three basic principles of experimental design controls so that systematic effects of treatments can be observed are: control by matching, control by randomization, and control by statistical adjustment. Internet makes possible for us to download new and old music. Music affect people in different ways from relaxing, motivating and hyping them up to perform whether on a basketball court, football field or ballet on Broadway. How do the music affect them.
