Program assistants have clearly defined tasks and are recognized for their efforts. Quarterly site observations are required of the supervisor to ensure effective teaching methods. Monthly recognition of exceptional Program Assistants is shared with the state office. Bi-weekly meetings are provided to discuss success stories, challenges and goals. Those who are lacking in productivity were given an action plan. Over the last five years, two program assistants showed leadership and was nominated for Lead of the team.
