Apparently, it’s the most influential especially on social media sites when it comes to hard core marketing. In fact, it’s importance has led companies to depend heavily on social media marketing because this word-of-mouth marketing uses the customers to promote the business more than anything, promotes the business based on their personal experience or knowledge of the company, and assists in geographically reaching those buyers that are not easily targeted or those not in the local area. With technology being so advance as it is today, word-of-mouth marketing as a marketing communication tool is sometimes the only reason people will even try a product. Ideally, people just want to makes sure that they are not only purchasing a product of poor quality, but that the product is even worth their money, representative of the benefits discussed on the packaging of the product, and last but more importantly that the benefits of the product outweighs its costs, so word-of-mouth marketing on the World Wide Web is everything when it comes down to getting the hard core truth about a product or service and its benefits.
