For veterans, sacrifice is a constant in their lives, be it the sacrifices they make at home, to leave their family and friends behind them for their country's sake, or on enemy lines, when they're selflessly putting their lives at stake for us. They become veterans because of their patriotism, their dedication to those around them, the pursuit of freedom, and for their beliefs.
