I would demonstrate patient advocacy for patients who can't care for themselves by speaking or caring in favor of the patients health. An advocate is a person who has authority to speak or write in favor of a person who can't speak for themselves. Lawyers, family members, or medical personnel can be advocates to this kind of patients. In the case the patient has an advance directive or a living will his or her wishes will be stated in that document. If there is no advance directive and the patient can speak for him or her family members will then decide the patient's medical care.
Have a good day!
