There are many species all over the world in many different ecosystems. But some of these species do not belong in the ecosystem they are in and these are called invasive species. Invasive species are non-native species of plants and animals introduced to an ecosystem usually by humans. The invasive species can thrive in an ecosystem where there are little to no natural predators and an abundance of resources. Due to these factors the invasive species can dominate an ecosystem and disrupt its natural balance and cause major harm to all of the other species in that ecosystem.
