In the article “How do you learn to walk? Thousands of steps and dozens of falls per day”, experimental research was done to find an answer to how infants learn to walk. Previous research was conducted on this topic, but it did not show anything about how much or how far infants walk, how often they fall, what makes them continue walking after falling, and how these abilities change with development. The students earn points for doing well on the tests, which the students have a monthly goal for accelerated reader points. Another thing I thought was interesting about Miss. Hooker’s class was the way she keeps the students active. She has a website that is a mini Zumba for her students. Whenever they are starting to get a little rowdy, she plays a three minute Zumba video that the students dance too, and then returns to lecture. In everyday life, it is important to overcome obstacles and complete tasks that one may not wish to complete. Therefore, people often need a driving force or a reward to aim for in order to complete that task. Identifying this has allowed me to understand what pushes me.
