My own values include Respect, Trust & Equality. Firstly I was brought up to respect my elders & this is something I have always followed, I was brought up to never talk back to my elders, this I believe comes from Primary Socialization (the way in which our family teach us to act, mannerisms & behaviour towards others). Fulfill or exceed our legal and ethical responsibilities in our public and personal lives. We were trained to have integrity (to do the right thing when no one is looking), and even when someone is looking we have the respect training knowledge and courtesy to do the right thing all the time. People are always looking at us even when you do not see them or think that they are watching. Integrity goes a long way to prove your honor, and your shipmates and fellow people will see that and I’ve learned that whether you know it or not they feed off of you. So if you are a positive role model and set a perfect example of not only honor but courage and commitment it carries you a long way and you will mold an impression that others will never forget.…
