An American novelist, short story writer, and journalist, Ernest Miller Hemingway once said, “All things truly wicked start from innocence.” This relates to the book, “No Fear Shakespeare: Macbeth” because some people might look innocent but deeply inside their not. In the book “No Fear Shakespeare: Macbeth”, Macbeth was more eviler because in Act 2 he helped kill the former King Duncan and his guards. He sent murderers to kill Banquo and his son, Fleance in Act 3. Macbeth was so evil that he sent the same murderers to go kill Macduff’s family in Act 4.

Banquo and Macbeth were really close friends. Until one day they got a visit from the witches. In the book Macbeth says, “Always remember that I must be free from suspicion. For the plan to work perfectly, you must kill both Banquo and his son Fleance, who keeps him company. Getting rid of Fleance is as important to me as knocking off Banquo.” (Pg. 95) Macbeth sent murderers to go kill Banquo and his son, Fleance while they were riding their horses. The murderers accomplished killing Banquo but before they could kill Fleance he had already fled. Another reason why Macbeth is more eviler is because he wanted to kill Banquo and his son, Fleance because the witches told him that Banquo’s sons will become king. He said to the murderers, “He’s my enemy too, and I hate him so much that every minute he's alive it eats away. Since I’m king, I could simply use my power to get rid of him. But I can’t do that, because he and I have friends in common whom I need, so I have to be able to moan and cry over his death in public even though I’ll be the one who had him killed.” (Pg. 93) The witches told Macbeth that Banquo’s sons will be king and they would take over Scotland. As the King, Macbeth only wanted the throne for himself. So that's why Macbeth had to kill Banquo. After Banquo’s death, Macbeth was hallucinating Banquo’s spirit and started feeling …show more content…
Macbeth was very upset with Macduff going to England. In Act 4 after Macbeth found out Macduff fled to England he said, “In fact, I’ll start following up my thoughts with actions right now. I’ll raid Macduff’s castle, seize the town of Fife, and kill his wife, his children, and anyone else unfortunate enough to stand in line for his inheritance. No more foolish talk. I will do this deed before I lose my sense of purpose.” (Pg.145) The reason why Macbeth killed Macduff because he was a traitor. Since Macduff was a traitor, Macbeth thought if he killed his family it'll be his revenge on him. Another reason Macbeth is much more eviler is that he didn't kill Macduff’s family himself, he sent the same murderers who killed Banquo to go kill Macduff’s family. The first murderer killed Macduff’s son in Act 4 and said, “What's that, you runt? (stabbing him) Young son of a traitor!” (Pg. 155) After Macduff's son got stabbed, he told his mother to run away but before she can the murderers already killed her. There were a couple of reasons why Lady Macbeth was more eviler than Macbeth in the
