Dear Mr. Pathman,

Thank you so much for taking the time to interview me last week. I was surprised by how much we had in common; not only did we both live on Collins third floor freshman year at Wake, but we also both have a passion for GI research! I appreciate you taking the time to tell me a bit about the medical school's housing system, and I hope that after our conversation, Hit the Bricks will be an event that will promote friendly competition between medical students while also benefitting the Brian Piccolo Cancer Foundation. In addition, it was a pleasure to discuss my love of music and some of the ways in which my world travels with the Philadelphia Boys Choir will impact me as a physician. Smith,

Thank you so much for taking the time to interview me last week. It was a pleasure to discuss my love of music, my world travels with the Philadelphia Boys Choir, and the ways in which music will shape me as a physician. I was so surprised to hear that you know my Wake Forest choral director, Dr. Gorelick! In addition, I enjoyed discussing my passion for GI research and the close-knit and spontaneous relationships formed between research students and mentors. Thank you for giving me the contact information of Dr. Richard Weinberg in the GI department; I will highly consider reaching out to him so that I can foster a connection to the GI community here in Winston-Salem. It was a pleasure to meet you, and I hope to see you again in the near future.

Sincerely,
Ricky Barash

Dear Dr. Sachs,

Thank you so much for taking the time to interview me last week. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation about psychological illness and the ways in which social stigmas can impact the treatment of these illnesses. Our conversation challenged me to consider the ways in which I might be more conscious of underlying psychological illness in my future practice of medicine. I also enjoyed discussing the challenges I have faced as the leader of my a cappella group, and the ways in which my passion for music will shape me as a physician. Thank you again for your time, and I hope to see you the near future!

Sincerely,
Ricky

After we were done with her morning medication, I went to one of her patient whom I was assign to by Mrs. Natasha to perform mini mental survey and general assessment on the patients.…

When I walked into Advocate Illinois Masonic I was taken back by how massive the hospital was. I found the HIM department on the first floor and was greeted by Renee Rahimzadeh. Ms. Renee Rahimzadeh upon greeting me supplied me with my schedule for the duration of my time with Masonic. My nervousness at this time has subsided since Ms. Renee was so friendly and warm. I had my departmental tour with Ms. Rahimzadeh and she introduced me to the staff that was present at the time and at the end of the tour I was taken to Document Imaging to start my day.…
