Apply what they learn from the classroom, using her paternalism view, one of the direction approach is provide health education related to the disease process, create the health awareness to the patient, this is can beneficence and empower the patient by providing information in patient decision making, this giving him autonomy.
The other option student may involve the family in respect to patient autonomy. Patient may willing to share his concern and worries with his family, on the handle family members may felt respect and be aware of the patient condition, be prepared or anticipated the outcome. This may given patient more willing to accept other option or helps, this is definitely beneficence to his current situation.
Another option student nurse may seek senior nurse advise, as the senior nurse may have more experienced, the senior able to provide her paternalism view.
