One week has passed and I found it hard to stick my intended schedule. I was not able to achieve everything as I planned. Things which were not in my plan, suddenly appeared, and improvisation was the only choice I had. It took me lots of time to deal with, and I had to change my schedule constantly. For instance, my driving test was canceled due to car insurance issue, so I had to reschedule driving test appointment. Also, my work schedule changed, instead of working on Friday and Saturday as I always do, I had to work on Friday and Sunday this week. These unpredictable situations messed up my schedule and I couldn’t do thing as I planned.
Traffic was my time bandit. Traffic is the most common time bandit for everyone. It takes me almost an hour to get out of traffic jam, and 2 hour at the rush hour. It is hard for me to follow my schedule. Traffic can’t be controlled, so the only way I can cope with traffic or rush hour is to find a way that prevent me from getting in traffic jam before starting the engine, it could be a shortcut or a longcut. Even a longcut can save more time than trying to get out of traffic jam at rush hour. But if I was stuck in traffic at rush hour, I could use that time to do homework or assignments because I can only move 2 centimeters per minute during rush hour, and I will …show more content…
I chose to work 4 hours on Friday and 4 hours on Saturday. The work schedule ,which I chose, will allow me to have enough time for studying. Unfortunately, my work schedule is not consistent because of being a trainee, I need to be trained in 10 weeks in order to become an official employee. It will be hard for me follow things I planned if my work schedule is changed. If the work schedule matches my school day or studying time, I will ask to change. Unless it’s not changed, I will quit and find a new job which is good for my studying or school
