Safe Safety is steel or aluminum safer to use. Steel is a type of metal that is hard, durable and it is used to make thousands of things that we use everyday. For example, it can make things like places we live in, work in (the buildings) it makes your clothes that you are wearing right now. …show more content…
Steel is proven a really high quality grade material because of safety that it obtains. The fire resistance that it has. And also because it does not require a lot of work to be done on it, all the work you would really have to do was clean the snow off of it or leaves off of it. It is one of the most recycled products annually at eighty million tons. It is also lightweight but yet really strong in the strength department. Also it will not just blow down because of wind or things like that and it will take a lot longer for a fire burn it down to the ground (https://gensteel.com/blog/expert-insights /6-reasons-steel-buildings-are-safer). Aluminum is also proven that it is a high quality of metal because it is trusted, strong, safest. How I would prove that fact is talking about the fact that a lot of military vehicles and military things are made out of aluminum metals. It is corrosion resistant. It is ⅓ the weight that steel is and it is also strong or can be stronger than …show more content…
For example when the World Trade center went down it was because the fire was burning so much and so badly and at such a High temperature because of the jet fuel and because of the amount of time the jet fuel was burning caused it to burn hotter (because jet fuel burns really hot) that it weaken the steel enough for it to make the World Trade center collapse. Also because of many other factors that happened that day. Steel melts at 1370 degrees celsius and aluminum alloy melts at a mere 476 degrees celsius. Come Back to more on aluminum

Aluminum is easily moldable and elastic. Steel is not moldable or elastic but it is very tough and resilient. But yet steel, carbon steel is stronger than aluminum because of the weight and the thickness of the steel.

Non Corrosive
Aluminum is an non-corrosive or corrosive resistant. If it is exposed to oxygen, water, etc. It can cause the Aluminum to corrode. It will rust or become, unique colors, discolored. Steel will only melt if the steel is at a degree of a 1370 degree celsius or at 2500 degrees fahrenheit. Aluminum melts at a temperature of 1220 degrees fahrenheit and 660 degrees celsius. But it has to be orange, bright, bright orange before it is not enough to melt the aluminum.
