Evidence-Based Practice Proposal - Section E: Change Model Implementation of evidence-based practice to create change in the clinical arena is the challenging task for the clinicians and research expertise. In the context of the implementation of EBP, various ‘change models’ were innovated for systematic guidance to assist the clinicians with their expectation for the change align with their organization (Melnyk & Fineout-Overholt, 2015, p.274). The author was in a position to chose the model to make a change in the knowledge and skills of nurses to bring positive outcomes under patients preferences using enhanced clinical decisions under EBP results. For the system-wide advancement of EBP quality care needs to exercise the key strategies with in-depth knowledge of research expertise. The author conducted this study under the guidance and supervision of research expertise in the hospital in connection to overcome barriers, and for facilitation. The ARCC model is suitable for cognitive behavioral change which implies on the individual, environmental, and social importance factors to cognition, emotions, learning, and behavior (Beck et al., 1979; Lam, 2005). The collaborative team members were identified the EBP champions, and mentors and trained to reach the nurses for strengthening the beliefs in EBP and make the appropriate clinical decision in patient care.
