Sponsored collaboratively by the Sullivan West CSD and Sullivan BOCES’ Instructional Support Services Division, the event was significant given the recent changes to New York State Annual Professional Performance Review regulations and the ability to match the appropriate tests to the district curriculum and delivered instruction.

Participants learned about the history and utilization of each of the evaluation rubrics, explored what constitutes effective visits and feedback, and had the opportunity to ask questions about the best way to implement the Marshall Evaluation Rubric. The day was broken into two sessions: the morning focused on Effective Practices in Teacher Evaluation Using the Marshall Rubric and the afternoon focused on Effective Practices in Principal Evaluation Using the Marshall Rubric.
