The Special Olympics oath shows hope for committed and dedicated athletes. All thanks to Eunice Kennedy Shriver, the woman responsible for the greatest organization ever created. Special Olympics was created in 1968 when my role model Eunice Shriver's eyes were opened to just how unfairly children with disabilities were traded. Much like Shriver, I am dedicated to the equality of children with mental delays. Since I was eight years old I have always been involved in the Special Olympic foundation.
