Ethos Pathos Logo Analysis

I choose the first logo because it’s simple. Although it’s simple it’s very meaningful, especially for us Indonesians. From what we can see this logo have a eagle head in the negative area. And as I know eagle (garuda) is an emblem of Indonesia, an eagle that holds on to a slogan “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika”. Not only that, Indonesia also well know for their red and white flag. Red symbolized bravery, while white symbolized purity. That’s why I chose this first logo. I also choose the second logo because it is appropriate for kids. It looks fun and cool. First thing there we can see the face of a wayang and its long nose. Wayang is a Javanese puppet show, played with gamelan and some narration. This shows much of Indonesian’s heritage. In the wayang’s head there is a strip of batik. Batik is s traditional clothing from Indonesia. That’s why I chose this logo as well. …show more content…
There are five things that make a good logo, which are simple, memorable, timeless, versatile, and appropriate. I think my logo reach the criteria my logo is simple; there is no much detail. It’s memorable because it’s simple, it’s original and it’s meaningful. It’s timeless because it looks modern and new. I am pretty sure people in the future will like my logo. It is versatile because it could be printed by one color, it could be printed as big or tiny as possible, and the color could be reversed. I feel that this logo is also appropriate for all ages, from kids to adult to elderlies. My logo has reached all the criteria a good logo should have, that are why I chose it over the second
