Ethics of care has a moral obligation, which in this case is not to cause harm on Halima and instead fire the coach. In an interview held with Gilligan she states that, “its logic is inductive, contextual, psychological, rather than deductive or mathematical.” This means even though firing the coach and closing the group will have a lot more disadvantages to it according to ethics of care the Principal will have to put into account the wrong doing of the coach and the hurt she has caused Halima. Consequentialism is not the best choice her because it would side with Mrs. Walker due to the greater consequences that come out of it. Firing her would have a lot more disadvantages than giving her a lighter punishment. And it wouldn’t be the best frame work to use because it doesn’t account for human feelings, in this case Halima’s
