Three issues that can greatly impact ethical management are confidentiality, veracity and fidelity (Burns, Bradley & Weiner, 2011). Independently, these three issues each presents itself with its own applicable application and consideration. Collectively however, they are all intertwined and should be adequately considered by managers. Ethical issues related to confidentiality may arise from the unethical disclosure of sensitive or protected health information concerning a patient. Ethically, this dilemma may arise when the trust that has been placed in a healthcare provider by the patient is not given the appropriate level of consideration or regard.
