On 07/24/15 at approximately 2108 hours, I, Officer Artaz responded to 119
Silver Street to assist Sergeant Kettle with his investigation of a domestic violence. This location is in the City limits of Delta.

Upon arrival, we were escorted to the back yard of the residence, and shown a window that had been broken out. I observed the screen of the window lying on the ground and the frame of the screen was bent.

The reporting party pointed to a Jeep that was parked in a vacant lot, say it was DJ's. I walked out the gate to check the Jeep, but as I walked through the gate I observed a large pooling of blood. As I walked out the gate I observed a trail of blood drops leading from the gate into the vacant lot. I followed the drops to another large

I pulled my Taser out of the holster with my left hand, and pressed it into DJ's chest. At this time Officer Braslin moved in and secured DJ's right hand.

I told DJ several times to turn around or he was getting tased. DJ continued to not comply with my orders. DJ once again grabbed my right wrist with his left hand, and I told him to get his hand off of me. DJ hit the Taser away form his chest with his left hand.

I put the Taser back towards his chest area, and he attempted to grab it. I deployed the Taser and both probes hit DJ in the right abdomen area. The probes were only one to two inches apart.

DJ stood up and turned his back towards me. I pressed the Taser into DJ's upper leg or lower back area. Officer Braslin placed DJ in an arm bar, and DJ went to the floor.

Once on the floor DJ continued to resist, and I again pressed the Taser into his lower back and cycled it. At this point DJ became compliant and he was placed in handcuffs by Officer Braslin.

I called out on the radio that the Taser was deployed and we had one in custody. Officer Braslin and I observed a small cut next to DJ's left eye, which
