Why I am interested in food. I am interested in food because of the different cultures, cooking methods, and fun facts. How do people define food? Food is the basic essential that we need to survive. It gives us nutrients, energy and so much more. There are many different cultures of food all-round the globe which may include; African Americans, Chinese Americans, Mexican Americans, and many more Because, I have always wanted to travel, it makes food more appealing to me. Traveling to new places means I have to become open to trying new foods. Not all states prepare foods like Americans do. Every culture has its own unique style of preparation, some are more traditional than others. I think its important that we learn about the different cultures, the different cooking methods, and also read facts about our foods. One reason that I became interested into food is the different cultures.The fact that we are all different in so many ways is what us so special. I love that not all ethics have the same mentality of eating their meal the exact same. We all prepare food so differently not just in American households, but all around the world. I have always questioned where the names of our food came from. It’s time for some fun facts about food. I have read things about food that I did not know such as; the M&M candy actual stands for Mars and Murrie, or that Pears melt in vinegar. There are so many facts about food that I have never knew until one day just randomly googling things about food. I love finding new information on all sorts of stuff. Finding out cool things about what we eat can be little bit scary especially if it’s something I like to eat. Did you know that the fear of cooking is real? It’s called Mageirocophobia and is considered a phobia. One can learn so much about food that it may just become addicted to want to know
