Learning is the knowledge and skills we gain through experiences, and being taught the materials. Learning is important in our lives. If we did not have the ability to learn, we would not know anything we know today, not remember our past experiences. We learn how to talk, eat, walk, write, drive, etc. We all learn in different ways. Visual, Auditory, and kinesthetic are three of the main different ways of learning. A visual learner needs to see things to know. An auditory learner prefers to get information by listening, needs to hear it or speak it to know it. A Kinesthetic learner learns better when physical activity is involve, prefers hands-on learning. I have taken a few tests to determine my learning style.
My scores for my assignment on education planner came out to be that I am forty percent visual, thirty five percent auditory, and twenty five percent tactile. My other scores for my vark questionnaire website assessment came out to be that four out of thirty I am visual, ten out of thirty I am aural, eight out of thirty I am read/write, and the other eight out of thirty I am kinesthetic. Visual learners understand better by sight. They like to see what they are learning. As a visual learner, they are often neat and clean. They often close there eyes to visualize things. For directions, visual learners rather draw out a map than explain directions. Visual learners are easily distracted by sounds. For example, if you are in class and someone walks by, it is more than likely you cannot help but look. In addition, if someone says the word cat, it is more than likely you will picture a cat in your mind. Another example of a visual learner is that when learning to solve math problems, a visual learner learns the problem better by showing the steps to achieve the
