The vanitas is one of the symbolic work of art. vanitas it is linked with still-life painting of a 17th-century Dutch genre linked with symbols of death or change as a reminder of their inevitability, As applied to vanitas art, the word is drawn from the biblical book.
The vanitas has a lot of symbols there are two different types the first one is still life object and the second one is still life nature. object such as skulls, rotten fruit, bubbles, smoke, watches, hourglasses, and musical instruments. Natures such as Fruit, flowers and butterflies, birds, apple and a peeled lemon before it was an expensive food items. Every single vanitas symbols has different meaning for it.
