The government should make it mandatory for all parents to get their children vaccinated. In today’s society, there is a split belief on vaccinations. On one hand, people vaccinate their children because they believe it can save their child’s life from contagious diseases. On the other hand, people choose not to vaccinate their children because they believe it is inhuman to pump unknown substance into their child’s body with potentially experiencing fatal side effects.

The death toll in children has decreased since vaccinations have come about. Parents are not losing money since they are not missing work because of their child is sick. Children that are going through chemotherapy are exempt from vaccinations. Vaccinations decrease the potential risk of an outbreak of a contagious disease like the measles. Having the government make it mandatory for all parents to get their child vaccinated interest me because there are so many children’s lives lost each year that could have been prevented. By choosing not to vaccinate your child the parents are putting their child’s health and life at risk.
For parents that choose not to vaccinate their child due to religious beliefs or medical issues, I can understand because they do not want to go against what they believe in or if their child is receiving chemo their body would reject the vaccinations. As a parent, you protect your children from harm’s way and make sure they are safe. For the parents that are aware of the danger that they put their child in with choosing not to vaccinate them I would like to know a reasonable explanation as to why? Also, I would like to know the estimated amount of money the government and pharmaceutical companies earn each year from vaccinations. Finally, I would like to know the yearly number
