For example, the population numbers in California State approximately reach over 38 million people while New York State almost just under 9 million people, nevertheless; both states can elect only two senators to present each state. Currently, there are 50 states in U.S; as result; there are 100 senators members which each senator 's membership is six-year. In contracts, the House of Representatives more democratically body which the representatives are being elected by the state 's citizens directly based on each state 's population; exception of; six members who are non-voting such as the members who are representing the District of Columbia and the territories.
