Human purpose There are many different ideas of what human purpose is or what it should be. Personally, I believe it means that a person should follow their heart and do what they love Along with following their heart; people should be kind and respectful to each other. We need to be respectful to each other and to defend the people that are not in the positions to do so themselves. Human purpose is about finding your passion and following it, but also making sure that everyone else has an equal opportunity to live out their passion. In other words, human purpose means to live a righteous life, were you earn but not at the expense of others.
The purpose of society and its institutions
The purpose of society runs parallel with my idea of human purpose—everyone should be helping the next person, if need be. Society as a whole is just a larger community. Within our communities, we look out for each other, help our neighborhoods when needed, respect each other, love each other, and that’s what societies should be about. The purpose is to uplift people and allow them to count on assistance from society when and if necessary.

Social workers take on multiple roles in order to help individuals, groups and communities achieve a better quality of life. Some of the roles that are use to achieve this are, advocator, broker, enabler, and teacher. We approach the change through policy, community organization, research, and empowerment.
