Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) are advanced nurses that work in the neonatal intensive care units (NICU), delivery rooms, emergency rooms, or specialty. They work with healthy, sick, and premature newborns. Neonatal Nurse Practitioner also deals with cases like low weight, heart abnormalities, congenital abnormalities, and other disorders. This is the career that I would love to become. In this essay I will talk about what NNP's job description, salary, education requirements, training, problems/issues, and benefits.

They should also "...hold a registered nurse degree and at least hold a minimum number of years of nursery care experience" (Study.com: Education Requirements). When the students complete the degree program, they must take a NNP board exam. All states require the exam in order to be able to go the licensure
