It was a huge success. He later created a 12 passenger model in 1941 that everyone thought was very cool and could not get over how great the machines worked even in the harshest conditions. Though it was very successful all production of the snowmobile came to a quick stop when the Second World War started. It wasn't all bad though because he assisted the Canadian government and made special military vehicles for the allies during the war so he actually did some good for his country. His business took its second major blow when Quebec decided to start plowing the streets because it made his snowmobile basically useless due to the fact that you could drive on the street with a regular car in the winter. He didn't let that bring him down though but instead listened to the people who bought his products and began to produce a much smaller model of snowmobile mainly used for recreational purposes and small work task around your house. When he died in 1964 he had already created the prototype of this much smaller snowmobile which ended up being a huge hit and they sold lots of them throughout the years and even todays models are still based off of that same
