When I was growing up college to me was just a place that smart people with money would go to get a noble job and earn more money. I only heard about it never really knew the extravagant opportunities it provided. College was not something that I was told to strive for the reason being that everyone in my family is going or got by life adequate without it. They had responsibilities at a young age and never really got to finish school or explore any intellectual concepts. Not going to college is a norm thing in my family. I do not want not going to college to be an acceptable thing in my family anymore so I used all of these little factors and challenges in my life and formed some aspirations. I have turned all of these things in too positive influences and has helped me get to my academic success that I am at right now. They have helped me grow and become who I am!
The major thing that formed my aspirations is my Mother. My Mother had two children to take care of by the time she was my current age. She dropped out of high school and worked so that way she can provide for us, something her Mother was not able to do. She always wanted a better life for my brother and I so being able to provide for us was something very important to her. My Mother has given up so much for me. I want to have a better

The main factors would be to be a role model for my younger siblings because, I did not have someone to look up to while I was doing school work, no one to follow their steps to the college process. It is important to me that I show my younger siblings that it is possible to do anything as long as you set your mind to it. A challenge is watching my Mother struggle to provide and give us things we want. I do not want to see my Mother struggle for things so I work hard to help her with anything she needs.
