But if you live in a dry, and hot climate all year round, your hair may be suffering often. Overexposure to the sun can cause the hair to be chronically dry. Harsh Shampoos
Shampoo plays an important part in hair health. But not all shampoos are created equal. Many shampoos contain harsh ingredients like sulfates and alcohols that can literally strip all of the moisture out of the hair. To combat this, try looking for sulfate-free shampoos and always, always follow up with a thick moisturizing conditioner.
Overuse of Product
Ever heard the expression “too much of a good thing is a bad thing?” Unfortunately, using too much hair product can affect your hair for the worse, especially if those products have chemicals in them. Whenever you use heavy creams and moisturizers, they can build up on the hair. Over time, that buildup will dry out the hair.
