But, it’s not just the previous drum majors I was influenced by; Nick, Michael, Vy, Mr. Sebastian, and my wonderful section leader Sarah also inspired me too. However, many previous drum majors had set the standards at a high level and it's my privilege and responsibility to maintain the tradition but at the same time help the band improve through words of encouragements. Even though I may not have a recognizable leadership position prior to this, one reason out of many reasons why I would be a successful leader is that I am very understanding with the people I’m working with. I know how to deal with problems that band members usually face because I was in the same position as they were, therefore, I will try my best to help them with any problems they might have as well as constantly learning from my fellow bandos to make self improvements. My goal is to motivate and inspire every member to keep pushing and practicing because if they strive for it, they will become successful. Another reason why I would be a successful leader is because I am responsible and can handle tasks in a sufficient manner. Lastly, I am a very positive and dedicated person which can help inspire the members to work in a similar
