A C-section is a procedure of delieveing a baby through a surgical opening in the mothers lower stomach area, this procedure is also known as a Cesatean delivery. In the case of revieving a C-secton, women who usually get the procedure might have health issues such as past surgergery on the uterus, previous c-section, HIV infection, active genital herpes infections, or severe illness such as heart disease. A C-section is also acceptable treatment if there are problems with the baby, like abnormal heart rate, developmental problems and if they are triplets or twins; as well as a very large baby or infection/fever during labor. Lastly this procedure can occur when issues with the placenta or umblical cord happens, for example the placenta covering part of or all of the opening to the birth canal or the umbilical cord comes through the opening of the birth cancal before the baby. Moving on, a C-section is considered a safe procedure. having complications are very low, although there are a few risk following an infection of the bladder and uterus , injury to the urinary tract or high average blood loss.
