Asch, then, changed some of the variables in the experiment – such as, but not limited to, having one person say the right answer, attraction to the group, size of the group, and the gender of the subject. From my opinion, if more people were against my opinion or my thought, I would change what I was thinking. It also surprised that men would be so apt to pleasing people that would risk their life by not getting medical help to please the people they admire. I would never risk my life to make someone happy if no one else was suffering.
One question I had was: why does the culture change the amount of conformity and why did he not add this into his experiment? Instead someone else took his test and tested this theory. Another question I had while reading this is: why do so many people strive to please people?
