The positive and negative consequences that have come with the war have not downgraded or Soldier’s belief in our Army Vales. Majority of our Soldiers believe the Army Values are demonstrated in overall performance and conduct by their peers. Importantly, we must remember sustaining the Army Values has pushed us through some of the most difficult years and will be the foundation of our profession. (P 19)
The Army’s Professional Culture Our culture is informed by and withstands the Army Ethic, the heart of the Army. Therefore, culture goes beyond just style. All professions and major organizations have diverse cultures that influence behaviors and form the identity of their members. The culture of a people generally shows what is acceptable and effective in times of strong need. Climate is frequently driven by policies and practices, displays the leader’s characters. Nothing like culture, that is deeply embedded, climate can be changed quickly. (P 9 / 51)
