The Profession of Arms
The Profession of Arms is charted by the Constitutions of the United States and Officials who have been elected to hold the Constitutions with the application of well-trained Soldiers in their field such as Army Human Resource. Profession of Arms in the Human Resource sector of the Army is the back bone of the Army. Human Resource, Is affiliated with so many aspects of a Soldiers life such as accessing records, tracking Soldier records and pay from beginning to end of their career, etc. As a Human Resources you are awarded the opportunity to continue to grow due to so many functions in the job as a Human Resource. “Professional Identity. Guides the behavior of Soldiers at all levels and is characterized by an ethos of striving for excellence in functional specialties (e.g., infantry, logistics, aviation, etc.) and, at a higher level, on developing combined-arms campaign capabilities.” (p.10). We can credit that change due to the shift in culture, our nation’s ongoing vigilance and multiple combat operations.
Conclusion
The Army Profession of Arms is made of the uniformed Army, men and women that have the skills in arts of warfare. The Human Resource professionals plays a critical role in the Profession of Arms. They also play important roles in the Human Resource
Systems by insuring the proper handling of personnel matters for Soldiers throughout the Army. The overall objective of the Army Profession of Arms campaign is to help Soldiers and their leaders to refine their understanding of what it means to be professionals. As professionals we must exemplify selflessness, sacrifice, and dedication to duty in order to ensure the professions implement the ethical standards set. As an Army professional, we are responsible to develop and maintain the moral character and competence while fulfilling being a professional in the
