Babies are dependent on their parents and since the father is out hunting for seal; nurturing and teaching the children became the mother’s job. Babies are held close to their mother most of the time creating a strong physical bond. Being in such a small community structure the child doesn’t experience stranger situations which could instill trust because they don’t experience the fear of mom leaving. Eskimo babies are nurtured for most of their young life which will lead to an emotionally stable adult.
