According to the Erikson, generativity is something when adults care about their upcoming generation by accomplishing things that make world better place for them. However, stagnation when the adults deny that they have not done or accomplished any things for their upcoming generation. During the middle adulthood (approximately 30 to 60), “Most of the adults develop generativity in many ways through biological, parental, work, and cultural generativity” (book).
