However, only 4% of its land can sustain life and cultivation (Ibrahim and Ibrahim), which clarifies why its cities are usually overcrowded with a population that reached more than 100 million in 2017. This issue is caused by several geographic and climatological factors that will be discussed in the upcoming paragraphs. Also, it is situated right in the middle of the world and is surrounded by different countries like Libya, Gaza,/Israel and Sudan. Not only this, but also it overlooks the Mediterranean and the red sea. The water is used for agricultural purposes, especially in the Nile Delta which in turn represents our main revenue source and through pumping to water the agricultural lands in the desert areas. Back then, at the same time every year, the Nile used to flood watering the Delta’s cultivation. However, after building the High Damn, this flooding no longer takes place which lead some lakes to dry (Tutwiler). Besides all the agricultural and human-use purposes, Nile River also represents a tourism revenue stream
