An entity relationship diagram is a graphical representation of conceptual data organized into a specific and well-defined model.. The objective of an entity relationship diagram is to construct a simple, easy to comprehend, and accessible presented data model consisting of entities, attributes, relationships and cardinalities. The model serves as an instrumental tool for database design, where the model can facilitate communication between the system analyst and the end-user during the requirement analysis and conceptual design phases. An entity is defined as a real-world person, place, or thing with an independent existence, whether physical or conceptual. The jailers, the lawyer, and the prisoner all have a relationship where they interact with one another and create a specific system of interaction. . The prisoners will interact with jailers in order to receive and give details retaining to the prisoners. This will provide all the details of the prisoners to the jailor, affiliated lawyer, and other employees. The system will keep personal records of the prisoners which include their criminal histories, age, family members, address, and a medical report. The database can include the number of cells and prisoners in each section of the faculty area. The prison management system oversees each and every prison. Each prison will have their own separate section or interface. The interface will be accessible via their prison ID and will provide all information pertaining to that specific prison. The prison guards have access to medical reports of the prisoners for useful reminders and attention care. The lawyers are allowed to get a quick and complete report of their clients. Lawyers will be able to be constantly updated with information related to their client. This allows for efficiency throughout the cas-solving process. . The system provides complete bio data of the prisoners to the lawyers with permissions of clients. The lawyers will be able to obtain closing reports of prisoners so that they can advance the case further. …show more content…
Under this system, it was hard to search for the data of any prisoner due to overwriting and time consumption. The chance of data loss was enormous, excessive space being occupied because of numerous registers which are present in hard form, and it was non-secure. For these reasons we experienced large drawbacks .In order to increase effectiveness of the prison management system, we introduced a solution for it by building and constructing an entity diagram for the prison. This new prison management system will allow a proficient handling of all types of statistics. The system will be easy to access, tenacity free, fully secure, and easily
