This report mainly introduces the employee motivation about Four Seasons Hotel. Firstly, it mainly introduces the background of this hotel referring to its hospitality, culture and employees management. Further, it provides several key issues that this report may face in human resource management. The required job skills refers to language skills of English and native language. Because the customers are from different countries, therefore, it is the basic requirement of the language need, which affects the quality of service and the satisfaction of consumers. Therefore, in order to improve the job skills of employees and improve the service quality, the Four Seasons has built a series of employees training system to help employees to cultivate the job skills required by jobs, including the languages, the cultural adaptability and management knowledge etc. Meanwhile, in addition to the basic training, the Four Seasons Hotel also provides many regular training workshops to help employees to improve their personal growth (Jeffrey, 2004). When the management position is empty, the Four Seasons Hotel tends to select management talents within the internal organizations, which can employees to make their effort to work, because each employee has the chance to do the leader. Besides the internal training and promotion, the empowerment is also regarded as one useful method to motivate employees.
